It's not a good ride till you crash a little

And the race went well! I did crash and fly over my handlebars once during my first lap and cramp up horribly during my second, but Uncle Randy and I got 3rd place! Go Team Dysfunctional Family!...yeah there were only 5 teams hehe, but we had fun and that's what mattered! Everyone keeps tellllling me I did really well...but ya know how people always say nice things to you the first time you do something so you'll want to do it again? So, who knows, but I did have fun and want to race again :)

Let's race!

Well I never thought I'd actually race bikes, but that competitive bug just takes over my being and I have no choice! This Sunday is a race called Coronado's Challenge in Lindsborg, Ks...which is a very cute little town and ironically the sister city of the tiny town I grew up in in California. It's a 4 hour race...I believe I'll be teaming up w/Steph, but word is still out on that one...(uncle) Randy'd like to partner w/me if Steph doesn't, but that silly man just had a surgery so we shall see...I may just do it solo :)

In other news, tonight I totalled out my 40 hours of client contact for pracitcum, which is awesome to have out of the way! Course, I still have to meet with clients...can't just drop 'em once I've used them for hours...darn it haha So, the semester is winding down! Gotta love that! Soooo ready for Christmas break!!!

I'm in Miami Trick

Wow I'm a bad blogger. Eh well. So, since the last post: was in Oregon 4 days before realizing it wasn't where I wanted to be, spent time there chillin with friends, took me bike on the train down to Cali to stay with my family a while, then on over to Arizona to the grandparents a while. I call it my semester on hyadius. It was awesome.

Now I'm back in school workin on the masters again. Thinkin on specializing in Health Psychology and heck, maybe get my PhD someday. Meanwhile I have truly sold my sole to the bike kingdom and am officially obsessed. Just bought my first mountain bike for my 26th birthday! Gary Fisher Cobia :) Got to take her out on the trails that day and totally had a blast! Even have battle wounds to prove it! Haven't been able to ride much since then cause I've been crazy busy and sick blek. But, she does have awesome pink water bottle cages and, thanks to uncle Randy, will soon have a pink bike computer!!! Don't normally name things I own, but thinking I might name her Trick...?

Welp, perhaps I will try to be better at this...no promises! lol
